America’s Fallen Firefighter Memorial

Honoring Heroes. Healing Hearts. Uniting a Nation.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Ogden, Utah—known as the Crossroads of the West—stands a sacred space dedicated to honoring the lives and legacies of America’s fallen firefighters. The America’s Fallen Firefighter Memorial (AFFM) is more than just a park. It’s a living tribute. A place of reflection, remembrance, and reverence for those who answered the call and made the ultimate sacrifice.

Our mission is rooted in deep respect and brotherhood. Founded by firefighters, for firefighters, this memorial was created to ensure that no hero is forgotten, regardless of how, where, or in what capacity they served. Whether they were full-time, part-time, volunteer, wildland, military, union, or industrial firefighters, every name etched into the Wall of Honor represents a life of service and selflessness.

Once complete, this will be the largest memorial of its kind west of the Mississippi River, with names dating back to the early 1800s. The final two quadrants will honor sacrifices made in the eastern states, uniting our entire nation under one roof of remembrance.

A Place to Remember. A Reason to Visit.

Looking for something meaningful to do in Ogden? Visiting the Wall of Honor is a powerful experience for families, youth groups, civic organizations, and anyone who values service and sacrifice. This park has moved countless visitors, sparking greater appreciation for the brave individuals who gave everything to protect others.

How You Can Help

We invite you to become part of this mission. To bring the memorial to completion, we need the support of our community and beyond. Here’s how you can contribute:

  • Purchase a Memorial Brick: Honor a loved one, organization, or department by engraving their name in the memorial pathway. 100% of proceeds go directly toward completing the Wall of Honor.

  • Volunteer: Help educate the public, host events, and support our ongoing fundraising efforts.

  • Donate: Every dollar helps us maintain and expand this sacred space.

Together, we can ensure that these heroes are never forgotten—and that their legacy lives on for generations to come.
