America’s Fallen Firefighter Memorial Brick Fundraiser
The brick program was established as a means of raising funds to help with the construction of the memorial. There have been about 200 bricks sold so far which have a charter member logo on the brick. Bricks sold after 2016 will no longer have the charter member logo, but you can put your department or company logo in its place to customize your brick. The bricks are located at the entrance of the memorial on the north side. After much thought it has been determined that the bricks will be moved to the cement pavers in front of the granite wall. This will take place in the very near future. This is a great way to be part of this great memorial and show support for it. A special section will be established for those firefighters who have lost their life due to other causes than Line of Duty Death (i.e., PTSD, Suicide, Cancer etc.).
The bricks come in two sizes 4”x 8” and 8” x 8”. The 4x8 has a cost of $100 and the 8x8 $300. The brick engraving has a maximum of three lines, 20 characters per line (16-character limit if line is in all Caps). 100% of the proceeds go to the memorial.
We are always looking for volunteers to help with events and to educate the public about who the AFFM is and what we seek to accomplish. We also need volunteers to help with our fundraising efforts.
