This Memorial is not taking the place of any local, state or national firefighter memorial but is in addition to. America’s Fallen Firefighter Memorial is not taking the place of nor is affiliated with the National monument in Emmitsburg, Maryland, nor is it taking the place of the great work they do with the National Firefighter Foundation.
AFFM is the largest memorial of its kind in Western North America, to honor and pay respect to all of our fallen brothers and sisters. The monument is being built with private funds and donations and is constructed with the finest black marble and granite.
We’ve completed the first two quadrants, representing the western states with beautiful bronze state seals. We are currently raising funds to complete the last two quadrants for all of the eastern states.
In order for us to build the second half, we need to raise $350,000.00 and will do so by fundraising with our brick campaign and continuing with our annual motorcycle Fire Ride.
The Memorial is open daily to the public with a memorial service of national proportion being held each year on or near 9/11 to pay respect and honor our fallen firefighters. We invite everyone to come out and pay respect to those who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
